In 1969, Jimi Hendrix took the stage at Woodstock and delivered one of the most legendary performances in music history—playing to over 50,000 people in what he would later describe as one of the greatest experiences of his life. Dressed in a white leather jacket adorned with turquoise and green beads, paired with light blue Oxford bell-bottom pants, Hendrix stood on stage wielding his Olympic White, maple-neck Fender Stratocaster—creating a sound that would echo through generations.

Designed to capture the true spirit of that era, this pedal features exclusive 7mm custom-made CdS photocells, developed specifically for Sabbadius, paired with a genuine 1970s Japanese lamp. The result is an unmistakable “chewy,” organic modulation—rich, deep, and alive—just like a great vintage Uni-Vibe.
The SPEED control has been carefully voiced to cover the full expressive range—from ultra-slow, deep throb to fast, intense swirl—delivering everything a true Uni-Vibe-style pedal should offer.
The newly developed 7mm CdS photocells enhance the throb intensity across all settings, creating a three-dimensional swirl that lets you feel the movement, not just hear it—bringing you closer to the exact sonic experience Hendrix had with his original Uni-Vibe.
At its core, the circuit stays true to vintage specifications, featuring 2SC828 transistors in the signal path and a 2SC539-type transistor in the preamp section, faithfully recreating the character and response of the original units.
The pedal includes three main controls—VOLUME, INTENSITY, and SPEED—along with an expression pedal input (1/4″) that allows real-time speed control with your foot (expression pedal not included).
Two footswitches provide full control: a premium True Bypass switch for effect on/off, and a dedicated CANCEL switch that disables the lamp while maintaining high impedance in the photocells, allowing the unit to function as a rich, musical preamp—just like the original Uni-Vibe’s foot controller behavior.
A hand-painted soft rocker switch (RED/WHITE), finished with airbrush and gloss lacquer, allows you to select between CHORUS and VIBRATO modes:
– RED position down: Chorus Mode
– WHITE position down: Vibrato Mode
A pulsing red LED visually reflects the modulation speed, synced with the internal lamp behavior—so you can see the effect in motion.
The WOODSTOCK Edition is powered exclusively by a 18V DC power supply (center-negative), with a recommended current of 200mA (minimum 100mA).
Every unit is 100% hand-wired, built with premium components, and housed in a durable aluminum enclosure.
